1. Acceptance of Terms
By accessing or using the KTA+ Platform, website, mobile app, or related services (collectively, the “Services”), you agree to these Terms of Service (“Terms”) and our Privacy Policy.
If you do not agree, you must not use the Services.
If you are under 18, a parent or guardian must supervise and consent to your use of the Services.
2. Who We Are
KTA+ is an educational technology and community platform that provides faith-aligned homeschooling tools, immersive programs, and collaborative spaces for micro-schools and co-ops.
We serve parents, teachers, and students seeking to participate in faith-based learning environments and biblical worldview development.
3. Changes to Terms
We may revise these Terms at any time by posting the updated version on our website. Significant changes will be communicated as required by law. Continued use of the Services after the effective date of the revised Terms constitutes your acceptance.
4. Eligibility and Account Registration
You must create an account to access certain features. You agree to:
provide accurate and complete information;
maintain the confidentiality of your login credentials; and
be responsible for all activity under your account.
We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms or community standards.
5. Faith-Aligned Community Standards
KTA+ operates as a Christian education community built on respect, compassion, and biblical worldview principles. You agree to:
conduct yourself with integrity, kindness, and respect toward others;
refrain from posting or sharing material inconsistent with a biblical worldview, including content that is profane, discriminatory, violent, or sexually explicit;
respect differing denominational backgrounds while maintaining the shared Christian foundation of the platform; and
not promote alternative spiritual or ideological systems contrary to biblical teachings.
We reserve the right to moderate, restrict, or remove content or accounts that breach these standards.
6. Educational Use and Responsibilities
Parents and Guardians: Responsible for supervising children’s participation and ensuring online safety.
Teachers and Co-op Leaders: May create, share, and facilitate lessons, discussions, and assessments consistent with faith-aligned educational principles.
Students: Must engage respectfully, complete assigned activities, and comply with platform guidelines.
Educational content provided on the Platform is for instructional and informational purposes only and should not be treated as accredited certification unless explicitly stated.
7. Subscription Plans, Fees, and Payments
7.1 Plans and Pricing
The Platform offers both monthly and annual subscriptions, with optional free trial or freemium tiers.
Pricing is displayed in the applicable currency (USD or AUD).
7.2 Payment Processing
Payments are securely handled via Stripe and Shopify. You authorize us and our payment processors to charge your selected payment method for subscription fees and applicable taxes.
7.3 Renewals and Cancellations
Subscriptions renew automatically at the end of each billing period unless cancelled before renewal. You may cancel anytime through your account settings.
Refunds are granted only as required by law or at our discretion.
7.4 Failed Payments
If a payment fails, we may suspend access until payment is received.
8. Content Ownership and Intellectual Property
All software, curriculum materials, images, graphics, and other content provided by KTA+ remain our intellectual property or that of our licensors.
You are granted a limited, non-exclusive, revocable licence to access and use the Services for educational purposes only.
User-generated content remains owned by you, but by posting it, you grant KTA+ a worldwide, royalty-free licence to use, host, modify, reproduce, and display it for the operation and promotion of the Platform.
You must not upload or distribute copyrighted or proprietary material without authorization.
9. Acceptable Use
You agree not to:
use the Platform for illegal or fraudulent purposes;
post or share material that is obscene, defamatory, harassing, or misleading;
upload viruses or malicious code;
interfere with or circumvent security features; or
collect data from other users without consent.
Violation may result in suspension or permanent termination of access.
10. Privacy and Data Protection
Our handling of personal data complies with:
the Privacy Act 1988 (Cth) and Australian Privacy Principles for Australian users; and
applicable U.S. privacy laws (including the CCPA for California residents).

11. Disclaimers
The Services are provided “as is” and “as available”.
We do not guarantee uninterrupted access, completeness, or error-free operation.
To the maximum extent permitted by law, we disclaim all warranties, including merchantability and fitness for a particular purpose.
Educational content is provided as general information; parents and educators remain responsible for compliance with their local education regulations.
12. Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law:
our total aggregate liability for any claim is limited to the greater of AUD 100 or the amount paid by you in the preceding 12 months;
we are not liable for indirect, consequential, or punitive damages, including loss of profits, data, goodwill, or educational outcomes.
Australian Consumer Law Notice
Nothing in these Terms excludes rights under the Australian Consumer Law (ACL) that cannot be excluded. Where our Services are subject to such guarantees, our liability is limited (at our option) to re-supply of the Services or payment of the cost of re-supply.
13. Termination
We may suspend or terminate your account immediately for breach of these Terms, unlawful conduct, or at our discretion where continued use may harm the Platform or community.
Upon termination, you must stop using the Services. Sections 5, 8, 11, 12, 15, and 16 will survive termination.
14. International Access and Jurisdiction
14.1 Australian Users
These Terms are governed by the laws of Queensland, Australia, and disputes are subject to the courts of Queensland and applicable federal law.
14.2 U.S. and Other Users
For users outside Australia, these Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Delaware, U.S.A., and any dispute shall be resolved in Delaware or by binding arbitration under U.S. law, where permitted.
14.3 Cross-Border Use
Users outside Australia are bound by U.S. terms unless otherwise required by local law.
15. Indemnification
You agree to indemnify and hold harmless KTA Group Australia Pty Ltd, its directors, employees, and affiliates from any claims, damages, or expenses arising out of your breach of these Terms, your content, or your use of the Services.
16. Force Majeure
We will not be responsible for delays or failures caused by circumstances beyond our reasonable control, including natural disasters, war, pandemics, government restrictions, or internet outages.
17. Entire Agreement and Severability
These Terms constitute the entire agreement between you and KTA+ regarding the Services and supersede prior communications.
If any provision is invalid or unenforceable, the remaining provisions remain in effect.
