At KTA+, we care deeply about the privacy and safety of families, children, and educators.
This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, and protect personal information when you use our platform. We comply with all applicable US privacy and child safety laws, including:
COPPA – Children’s Online Privacy Protection Act (applies to children under 13).
FERPA – Family Educational Rights and Privacy Act (when schools use KTA+).
CCPA/CPRA – California Consumer Privacy Act & California Privacy Rights Act.
2. Information We Collect
We collect only the information needed to provide educational services, including:
Child information: name, age, learning progress, assignments, enrolments.
Parent/guardian information: name, contact details, billing information.
Account activity: login details, class attendance, project participation.
Technical data: device type, IP address, cookies for login/session security.
We do not collect more information than is reasonably necessary.
3. How We Use Information
We use personal information to:
Deliver programs (Kingdom Thinkers Academy, iProject International, Thinkers Academy).
Provide dashboards and progress reports for parents.
Moderate online communities and protect child safety.
Process payments, subscriptions, and licences.
Improve our services and platform features.
We do not sell or share children’s personal data with advertisers or unrelated third parties.
4. Parental Rights (COPPA & CCPA/CPRA)
Parents/guardians have the right to:

Revoke consent at any time and disable their child’s account.
Request deletion of their child’s data.
Opt out of sharing with third-party service providers (except those essential to platform operation).
Receive a copy of their child’s data in a portable format (CCPA/CPRA).

5. Consent & Verification
Children under 13 cannot use KTA+ without verifiable parental consent in line with COPPA. Verification methods may include:
Small refundable credit card charge.
Government-issued ID verification.
Signed parental consent form submitted electronically.
Consent records are stored securely and retained for at least 7 years, as required by FTC rules.
6. Data Security
All personal information is stored on secure US-based servers.
Security measures include encryption, secure authentication, and role-based access controls.
Only authorised staff and vetted educators may access records.
7. FERPA (If Partnering with Schools)
When KTA+ is used by a school, we act as a “school official” under FERPA. This means we handle student data only for educational purposes permitted by the school and never for any commercial purpose.
8. Data Retention
Personal information is kept only as long as necessary to provide educational services.
Parents may request earlier deletion of their child’s data at any time.
9. Child Safety & Mandatory Reporting
We take child safety seriously. If we become aware of risks to a child (e.g., abuse, exploitation, threats), we may share relevant information with:
Law enforcement.
Child Protective Services (CPS).
Other authorities as required by law.
10. Teacher Marketplace
The KTA+ Teacher Marketplace enables qualified and approved educators to list, offer, and sell their own educational courses, workshops, and learning resources. This may include educators who are under contract to deliver premium programs on behalf of The Transformation Network LLC (“the Company”).
Teacher Vetting and Compliance
All teachers participating in the KTA+ Marketplace are subject to a verification and vetting process designed to ensure compliance with applicable U.S. laws governing child safety and data privacy. This process includes, but is not limited to:
Identity and Professional Verification: Confirmation of identity and verification of professional credentials and references.
Background Checks: State-level criminal background checks, where required by applicable law or regulation.
Regulatory Compliance: Agreement to comply with all obligations under the Children’s Online Privacy Protection Act (COPPA), the Family Educational Rights and Privacy Act (FERPA), and the California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA), as amended by the California Privacy Rights Act (CPRA), as well as any other applicable state or federal privacy laws.
Educators may operate as independent providers and/or as contracted service providers of The Transformation Network LLC, subject to the terms of their agreement and this Privacy Policy.
Parent, Student, and Teacher Interactions
Parents and students may interact with teachers through classes, workshops, or community engagement spaces within the platform.
Teachers may only collect, access, or use personal information shared with them through the platform (including, but not limited to, student names, work submissions, or communications) for legitimate educational purposes and in strict accordance with this Privacy Policy and applicable law.
Enforcement and Oversight
The Transformation Network LLC reserves the right, at its sole discretion, to suspend or remove any teacher, course, or content that is found to be in violation of U.S. law, this Privacy Policy, platform rules, or established child safety standards.
Continued participation in the Marketplace constitutes ongoing agreement to these terms and the Company’s compliance and monitoring practices.
11. Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy to reflect changes in law or our services. Parents will be notified of material changes and may review or withdraw consent at any time.
